While watching my leopard gecko, Michael Jackson, I noticed he perceived his prey better with his right eye than his left. After researching this, I learned that in lizards, signals from the right eye go to the left hemisphere of the brain, which processes prey detection and escape routes; signals from the left eye go to the right hemisphere, which monitors danger and predators. In humans, this is far more complex. The left lobe of the visual cortex processes the right parts of the visual field from both eyes, and the right hemisphere's t hemisphere processes the left parts.
What is the relevance of this to the tracks? "Breaking brain" and "Not the one" are self-examinations exploring the differences between myself and a lizard, and how to address them.
